Salvatella is one of the classic names in Spanish pipe making, with roots in Barcelona and a long history of producing traditional briars for both the domestic and export markets.
Their pipes tend to sit in that sweet spot between old-school European character and honest everyday smoking quality. You’ll see plenty of billiards, bulldogs, pots, Canadians and other traditional shapes, usually with straightforward engineering and finishes ranging from smooth natural stains to rustication.
Some Salvatellas are fairly simple production pipes, while others are noticeably better in grain, shaping and finish, so the individual piece matters. The older examples especially have that unmistakable mid-century Continental look.
They’ve never carried the collector heat of the big English or Danish names, which is part of the appeal. A good Salvatella is usually better than the market gives it credit for.
A proper vintage Spanish sleeper—solid briar, classic shaping, and a hell of a lot more character than the price tag usually suggests.

Measurements available upon request.
My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
