Tom Howard wasn’t just a man with a sense of humor—he was a man with a lathe. A famous radio and stage comedian from the 1930s and 40s, Howard made his mark entertaining the country long before he ever turned a block of briar. But when the spotlight dimmed, he found peace in shaping pipes that carried his same easy charm. He carved hearty, practical smokers that felt built for a man’s hand, not a display case. His pipes even caught the eye of Popular Mechanics, which ran a feature on his work and praised his craftsmanship and ingenuity. Tom Howard’s pipes are old-school Americana—solid, unpretentious, and full of character, like the man himself. I have a few in my personal collection and they are some of my most rugged and dependable smokers even at close to 100 years old.

Measurements available upon request.
My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion
