This is a Capitello 641, a large bent billiard from Enzo Galluzzo, whose background is tied directly to the Caminetto school of Italian pipemaking.
The shape is pure old-school Italian muscle: a substantial bowl, sweeping bent profile, and that killer triple-ring mount giving the whole pipe a little extra swagger. Capitello pipes from this era are known for bold proportions, strong briar and hand-finished details that feel much closer to artisan production than factory fare.
These don’t surface nearly as often as the bigger Italian names, especially in the more dramatic shapes.
A big, handsome chunk of vintage Italian briar with legit pedigree and plenty of presence.

My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
