S.S. Pierce Co. Founded in Boston in 1831, S.S. Pierce built its name importing fine provisions, then added cigars, tobacco, and pipes to the business. So this stamp gives you a Boston retailer’s story, with the pipe itself likely made elsewhere; one known S.S. Pierce pipe was made in England by Comoy’s. I’d put this one around the 1930s, and I tell you what, there’s something charming about an old Boston grocer’s pipe: a little New England history to go with the next bowl and pour.
Professionally restored. Stem is 9/10. Come and take it.

I combine shipping on orders over $40 in the continental US, just ask!
Measurements available upon request.
My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
