Proctus is a scarce Danish make, generally tied to Viggo Nielsen of Bari and usually dated to the 1960s. Not a big catalog-house name, more of a “little Danish side-road” brand, with known stampings like De Luxe and Old Briar. You’ll see both smooth pieces and that tall, vertical Danish rustication that looks like it was cut by a man with coffee in one hand and a pocketknife in the other.
Collector-wise, Proctus sits in that sweet spot: obscure enough that most folks scroll past it, but with enough Viggo/Bari smoke around it to make pipe guys perk up. It ain’t a Bo Nordh, but it’s got real Danish vintage flavor, and the right shape can punch above its nameplate like a farm truck with a hot motor.

My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
