Dunhill 965 is the gold standard English — but the Dunhill-era tins are on another level. Deeper Latakia, richer Cavendish, thicker, creamier smoke that actually feels substantial in the mouth. The Peterson version is fine — clean, balanced, dependable — but it doesn’t have the same soul. The old stuff had weight, grit, and presence. The new stuff just follows the recipe.
