Pierre Morel Jr. is a second-generation Saint-Claude artisan who carried his father’s craft forward into fully handmade, shape-driven briars. His work leans freehand without getting goofy—organic lines, confident drilling, and a very French sense of proportion. He never produced in volume, and that scarcity matters: in France, original Morel Jr. pipes routinely sell for serious money, well above typical factory Saint-Claude fare, especially clean examples with strong grain. He’s under-recognized in the U.S., but on his home turf he’s treated like what he is—a legit artisan whose pipes don’t come cheap and don’t sit long.

Measurements available upon request.
My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion
