Pipes with the Aldo Morelli stamp are a German house brand owned by Denicotea, but the pipes themselves were produced by a number of respected Italian factories over the years, including Barontini, Lorenzetti, Molina, and Gigi. That means there’s no single “Aldo Morelli maker”—the quality depends on who built that particular pipe.
Most you’ll run across are drilled for 9 mm filters and aimed at the German market. Expect good factory engineering, comfortable smokers, and classic Italian shaping rather than flashy artisan work. Grain can range from plain to surprisingly impressive.
For collectors, the trick is looking past the stamp. If you can identify the underlying maker, you can sometimes buy the same workmanship for a good bit less than you’d pay for that factory’s own name. It’s one of those brands that’s worth a second look when the price is right—sometimes there’s a fine Italian horse hiding under a plain saddle.

My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
