Now this is a cool piece of pipe-smoking history. Made by Hungary’s Szabó Pipe Factory, this stout billiard was produced for the 2008 World Cup Pipe Smoking Championship, combining a warm smooth finish with rugged rustication, a handsome metal band, and the distinctive championship medallion carved into the bowl.
Szabó is one of Hungary’s great traditional pipe-making names, with roots stretching back to the early 20th century and generations of family craftsmanship behind the marque.
What really makes this one special is condition: it remains completely unsmoked. Competition pipes were made to be used, so finding one nearly two decades later that never saw a flame is a hell of a survivor.
A handsome Hungarian briar, a genuine piece of international pipe-club history, and one that has somehow made it all these years exactly as it left the factory.

I combine shipping on orders over $40 in the continental US, just ask!
Measurements available upon request.
My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
