Kaywoodie is one of the pillars of American pipe making. Built by the S. M. Frank & Co., the brand became synonymous with quality factory briars from the 1930s through the 1950s. The older four-hole Drinkless stinger era pipes are especially well regarded, with excellent briar, surprisingly refined shaping, and engineering that helped make Kaywoodie a household name. As production continued, quality became more variable, but the best vintage examples can smoke with pipes that cost considerably more. Collectors still chase early grades like Flame Grain, Relief Grain, Super Grain, and the higher-end carved lines, yet plenty of excellent Kaywoodies remain affordable. If you’re buying vintage American briar, it’s awfully hard to argue against a clean pre-1955 Kaywoodie—they’ve been earning their reputation for nearly a century.

Professionally restored. Stem is 9/10. Come and take it.

I combine shipping on orders over $40 in the continental US, just ask!

Measurements available upon request.

My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
