Walt Cannoy is a one-man American shop built on pure discipline—one pipe at a time, no templates, no shortcuts, no production mindset. Everything he does points back to the smoke: dead-center drilling, wide-open draw, conical chambers, hand-cut stems, and a cleaner that runs straight through or it doesn’t leave the bench. He even grinds his own tooling to get it right.
Stylistically he’ll nod to Danish lines, but that’s not really the story. The story is control—every dimension set by eye, every block chosen and processed for how it’s going to smoke, not just how it’s going to look.
He’s not a volume guy, never was. That’s why they’re scarce, and why the people who know tend to hang onto them. Not flashy, not overhyped—just a pipe made by a guy who cared more about how it performs in your hand than how it photographs on a table.

My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
