George Leousis is one of those quiet European makers who didn’t come up through the big-name schools—no flashy lineage, no workshop pedigree—just a guy in Greece who decided he was going to make pipes and figured it out by doing the work. He started later than most, not really getting rolling until around 2014–2015, but he came out swinging with a clear sense of direction. 
His stuff sits in that interesting middle lane—part artisan, part working man’s pipe. You’ll see Mediterranean influence in the materials—Greek, Spanish, Italian briar—and he isn’t afraid to mix in bamboo, metals, or accent work to give things a little edge without going off the rails. Hand-cut stems, straightforward stamping with date and number—nothing mysterious, nothing hidden. 
Stylistically, he leans classic with some personality. Rhodesians, bulldogs, and standards show up a lot, but he’ll push proportions or color just enough to keep it from feeling factory. He’s not chasing Danish perfection or Italian flamboyance—he’s carving pipes that look good, feel right, and land at a price where guys are willing to take a shot.
And that’s really where Leousis lives: accessible artisan. The feedback out there is consistent—solid smokers, good value, and a maker who’s still climbing.
He’s not a blue-chip name—but he’s exactly the kind of maker collectors pick up early, watch improve, and then later realize they should’ve bought deeper when the prices were still friendly.

My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
