This is a Virginia / Perique with that unmistakable McClelland fingerprint — tangy, slightly vinegary on the nose, then opening up into a smooth, naturally sweet smoke with just enough body to keep it interesting. It’s not trying to be loud or flashy. It’s refined, balanced, and built to just work bowl after bowl. The kind of blend you could smoke all day and still look forward to the next one.
But here’s where it flips — almost nobody stacked this stuff.
It didn’t have the hype of Christmas Cheer or the cult following of Red Flake, so most of it got smoked when it was new. Very little went into deep cellars, and even less shows up now. So today? It’s flat-out scarce. Way rarer in the wild than it has any right to be.
And just like the rest of the McClelland lineup, once 2018 hit, that was the end of the road. No reruns. No second chance.
